Evansville police were called to the 2400 block of North Harlan Avenue Wednesday afternoon for shots fired.
Investigation showed one person on foot and another in a white car apparently exchanged gunshots.
Some houses in the area displayed bullet holes after the incident.
No one is known to be hurt.
