Evansville police are looking into a shooting on the city’s south side.
Investigators say a 20 year old man showed up at St. Vincent’s emergency room about 8:30 last night.
He had been shot in the face.
His mother says he called her and told her he had been shot.
When she found him she rushed him to the hospital, arriving there about 8:30pm.
The victim was conscious and alert when investigators arrived, but not cooperative..
Officers did find a car near the scene with bullet holes. The car was registered to the victim, and blood was found inside.
