The man accused of shooting and killing a woman, and injuring a child in Earlington last week is on his way back to Kentucky.
Dennis Stone surrendered to Metropolitan Nashville Police in Tennessee on Saturday.
He has waived extradition and will return to Hopkins County to face charges of murder, assault and wanton endangerment.
Sheriff Matt Sanderson says the child that was shot is now out of the hospital.
