Evansville police officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Main Street about 3 o’clock Monday afternoon.
They found a deceased person lying outdoors at that location.
The coroner jhas identified the deceased as 56 year old Burk Jones of Evansville.
An autopsy revealed that Jones died of multiple blunt force trauma
The death is being investigated as a homicide.
They’re asking anyone who might have information concerning that person’s death to call them.
