Owensboro police responded Saturday night to the 1500 Block of West 5th Street on a shots-fired call.
Arriving officers found a 15 year old male who had evidently been riding a moped, with a single gunshot wound.
The victim was dead.
Police are asking for a call from anyone who knows anything about the incident.
