Evansville police were called to Deaconess Midtown Hospital about 5 o’clock Wednesday morning concerning a person who had arrived there with a gunshot wound to his leg just above the knee.
The victim was uncooperative with officers who questioned him about details of his injury.
All he said was that he was walking when he was shot and didn’t know where he was nor had he seen who shot him.
As he was taken to surgery, his girlfriend says she had picked him up somewhere on the east side and took him to hospital.
Police are looking for anyone who might know what happened.
