Two TriState department stores have made the grim list of their company’s closings.
J.C. Penny filed for bankruptcy in May and plans to close about 30 percent of its 846 stores.
According to the Business Insider web site, the company has identified 152 stores for closure.
They include the Vincennes Plaza store.
Macy’s will shutter 125 stores over the next three years.
The company hasn’t published a complete list of those affected yet, but has identified 30 stores for closing.
Among them are the Towne Square Mall store in Owensboro
