One person was burned escaping from a house fire over the weekend.
E-F-D units were called to the 2300 block of Herbert about 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
The fire apparently started in a bedroom in the vicinity of an electric outlet.
An occupant of the home also said he was burning incense on a night stand in the same area.
One person was burned on the shoulder and ear trying to get the front door open — that person and another person in the home escaped.
The burn victim was treated on the scene and released.
