Tyson plans to conduct hundreds of coronavirus tests at its facilities nationwide.
The company is also establishing a new position of chief medical officer, and is expanding its medical staff.
In April, the Green River District Health Department reported several employees at the Tyson plant in Henderson County had tested positive for the coronavirus.
