Beginning today, a mask ordinance goes into effect for everyone in Indiana.
Masks are required in all indoor public spaces, and outdoor public spaces where social distancing can not be maintained from people not in the same household.
It also covers people using public transportation, taxis, or ride-sharing services.
Masks are not required when eating, drinking, or exercising.
There are exceptions for certain medial conditions, and for children under eight years old.
