The Evansville law firm Danks and Danks sent a letter to the EVSC superintendent, demanding that the school corporation adjust its policy of extracurricular activities vis a’ vis the virtual academy.
The virtual academy is a return-to-school option that allows students to take classes without returning to face-to-face instruction.
EVSC says no virtual academy student is permitted to partake of extra curricular activities including sports.
The family is considering legal action if the school corporation does not change its policy.
