Vanderburgh sheriffs deputies make a speeding stop on I-64 near the 22 mile marker Thursday afternoon. They smelled marijuana coming from the car and made a probably cause search.
The probe turned up numerous items testing positive for pot, and made and packaged to resemble food items.
The car driver, X’Zavier Whitted, and passenger Zamounte Whitted, who claimed to be husband and wife, said they were from Virginia and were en route to visit family in Missouri. Both were arrested on drug trafficking charges.
