Vanderburgh Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to Darmstadt Road on a crash report Monday afternoon.
Witnesses led them to believe that the crash had happened overnight, but they thought someone was still inside the car.
Deputies found the body of 29 year old Austin Bell still in the vehicle between Mohr Road and April Drive.
An autopsy was conducted yesterday and the cause of death is pending lab testing results.
