Evansville police officers witness a crash at Riverside and Judson Wednesday afternoon, and they see one of the participants drive away. Officers gave chase but lost the vehicle only to find it abandoned later.
Witnesses described the driver and said he had a handgun.
Dispatched then told officers they had information that the man had broken into a home occupied by three juveniles and a juvenile baby sitter.
The driver hid the gun in the house and changed clothes.
He told the baby sitter to pretend he was her boyfriend.
The driver, 21 year old Geonovan Bailey came out of the house with the four juveniles and surrendered.
