Masses in the churches of the Evansville Diocese are to resume this week after a nearly two-month lay-off due to the Corona Virus.
But local ministers say there will be a different look to the Mass as parishioners return.
For one thing, the servers — grade-school-age assistants on the altar — will not be present, nor will those lectors who read the Epistles and other prayers
Ushers will assist people in finding a seat that conforms to Social Distancing.
Father Alex Zenthoefer of Annunciation Parish — which consists of two churches on Evansville[‘s East Side — is asking attendees to wear masks while on the church grounds.
