Tyson Foods will cut prices this week by 20 to 30 percent.
The discount is on beef products it sells to supermarkets and restaurants, among other outlets.
Wholesale prices have triples since March as a result of the virus outbreaks at meat-packing plants.
Tyson processes a fifth of the nation’s beef.
