Winslow man charged with murder
A Winslow man is charged with murder after police say he killed his former girlfriend. 24-year-old Kelsie McDonald was pronounced dead at Jasper Memorial Hospital late last night after police responding to a domestic disturbance call found her unconscious on the living floor of a house on South Bluff Street. When they entered the house, they found 32-year-old Christopher Morton holding a handgun in one hand and a beer in the other. He's charged with murder and is being held without bond in the Pike County Jail. Their three-year-old daughter was also in the house. She was not harmed. She's now with a family member.
