Workforce Development says Indiana gained more than 25,000 private sector jobs last month, and that's the largest one-month increase in the Hoosier state on record. Every employment sector saw significant growth, except for leisure and hospitality, which was unchanged. Indiana was responsible for nearly 13 percent of the nation’s private sector job growth in November. The state's unemployment rate declined last month, by 0.2 percent to 7.3 percent, lower than all neighboring states. Fewer Hoosiers are now unemployed than in November of 2008.
