Update on Meningitis here and there
The Centers for Disease Control says Indiana is home to 8 of the 91 cases of Meningitis from a contaminated Steroid injection. As of Monday morning, a total of 72 of the 560 patients who received injections from a contaminated lot have come to the St. Mary’s Emergency Room. Some did not have symptoms and were not tested for meningitis. Of those who were tested, no one has tested positive for meningitis and none have been admitted. The CDC says 7 deaths have been reported, and Meningitis has been reported in 9 states.
