Snow has delayed the USI faculty senate's vote on the proposed state-wide ban on same sex marriage. The university closed it's doors because of the weather Friday, and the meeting will be rescheduled. No date's been set. The senate was set to vote on a couple of statements. One would be in support of the proposal, just as I-U, Purdue, Ball State, DePauw and Butler have done. A second would be on a more general statement, in which the senate would say it doesn't support discrimination.
