WIKY Morning Show Nov. 8th
** The verdict came down yesterday afternoon and Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. The jury took nine hours to reach the verdict after a six week trial. He faces up to four years behind bars. But due to new sentencing laws aimed at reducing state prison overcrowding, Murray's sentence, whatever that is, will probably be served in the county jail. And, if it's the case, he might not serve his full sentence. Murray was immediately cuffed and taken off to jail, where he'll sit until his sentencing on November 29th. When the verdict was read, LaToya Jackson had quite the reaction.....
** Legendary boxer "Smokin'" Joe Frazier died last night after a short battle with liver cancer. He was just 67 years old. Here's the report from Fox News.
Boxing historian Bert Sugar recalls the great rivalry between Frazier and Muhammed Ali.

** Friday morning we'll be broadcasting live from the LST 325 for our 8th Annual Veteran's Day Breakfast. But on Sunday, there's a really cool event to help celebrate Veteran's Day. Cody Land, who is a veteran/student at the University of Evansville, stopped by to talk about the Veteran's Day 5K. The race starts at 8 a.m. Sunday morning in the LST parking lot.
