Diane's Daily Dish
I think that the DVR has completely changed the way we watch television. I know it has in my house.
For instance, only a select few shows are what we call "DVR-Worthy." It's funny how my hubby Jeff and I each have our favorites....while I love me some "Glee" and "The Vampire Diaries," Jeff's gotta watch his "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" and "BBQ Pitmasters!"
It's always interesting when we have two shows that are scheduled to record at the same time and we may want to watch a third. Then, one of us has to sacrifice their show for the week and watch it online (this is another way that we don't watch TV in the same way at all anymore). But, somehow we make it work!
These are the shows that are my choices for being "DVR-Worthy." "American Idol," "The Vampire Diaries," "Glee," "Hot In Cleveland," "True Blood," and "Blue Bloods (gotta get my Tom Selleck fix!)"
For Jeff, his list is "Royal Pains," "BBQ Pitmasters," "Triple D," "Whale Wars," "Boardwalk Empire" and "American Pickers."
For both of us, we enjoy "Castle," "Leverage" and "Human Target."
I've got to run.......I just saw that I've got 2 episodes of "Castle" to catch up on!
