Delilah's Chocolate Egg Nog Pie

Here's the Chocolate Egg Nog Pie recipe Delilah read on the air tonight. (As I'm off tomorrow, I'm going to make this later tonight, and maybe share it...I can be easily persuaded) If you try it, send us a review, and a photo !   -- Rick


1 1/4 cups graham crackers, crumbled
1/4 cube butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups egg nog
1 cup (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream, whipped (not ready-whipped)

--First, make the crust: Melt the butter. Mix the sugar and graham crackers together. Press into a cake pan, and set aside.

--Bring egg nog almost to simmering over low heat, stirring constantly so it does not burn on the bottom.

--Add chocloate chips and stir until melted.

--Soften the gelatin in the milk. Stir into eggnog mixture until thoroughly dissolved.

--Set aside to cool.

--Once mixture has cooled, fold in whipped cream.

--Put into pie shell, cover and refrigerate until set.
