Operation Comfort Warrior with Boonville Pioneers Basketball Team

Fri, 01/30/2015 (All day)

Our Basketball team (Boonville Pioneers) is having a drive to raise money for “Operation Comfort Warrior”.

This is an organization to help our veterans that have come home from deployment with mental and physical struggles due to their service.

The basketball team is collecting donations during the school day at lunches.  We have buckets distributed throughout the Boonville community for any donation that a person feels like they can give.

January 30 we are inviting service veterans to our home basketball game when we host Washington.

We have signup list for veterans to be our guest at the Boonville American Legion and Boonville VFW.

That night at the game we will be accepting donations at the gate for Operation Comfort Warrior.

Our theme for the night is going to be patriotic red, white, and blue.
